Reception of 5 new CHURCH MEMBERS
It was with great joy that on Sunday 3rd May five members of our congregation were received into CHURCH MEMBERSHIP.
The REVD. BRIAN CLARKE officiated at the service which included the Sacrement of Holy Communion.
A Quiz Night at Melbourne URC
took place on
Thursday 25th June
@ 7.30pm
Tickets £3 per person
incl. light refreshments
and soft drinks.
Bring your own BOOZE!!!
Bring your friends to make up a team of 6 or come by yourself and join others to make up a team.
Nothing too serious, just a fun night to test your wits and IQ

Harvest Festival and Thanksgiving display and Melbourne Arts Festival
Saturday 19th & Sunday 20th September 2026
10am till 4pm
The Church will be open throughout the weekend for visitors to enjoy the displays of knitted Biblical stories and tableaus. The traditional Harvest will take pride of place at the front of the church with the aroma of the freshly harvested produce filling the air. Refreshments will be on sale in the church hall. Visitors to the village are invited to come along and enjoy the hospitality and warm welcome.

Busy Hands Afternoon Group

An afternoon for ladies of all ages, skills and abilities to enjoy time together while knitting, crocheting, or partaking in any creative activity of their choice.
Busy Hands Evening Group
at -
An evening of creativity for everyone with a desire to be creative. We have ladies of differing abilities who knit, crochet, sew and weave a wide selection of creations. Refreshments (often home baked items) are included in the voluntary contribution of £1. A warm welcome is offered to all.
Books, Jigsaws, Greeting Cards, & Baby Knitwear Sale

An opportunity to browse and purchase second-hand books and jigsaws. Hand made baby and children’s knitwear and adult accessories are also on sale. We also stock reasonably priced greetings cards.
Cuppa & Chat
at -
An opportunity to meet with others for a chat, a drink and refreshments in a warm, friendly and relaxed environment. Biscuits (and often home made cakes) are included for a small voluntary contribution, served by our friendly helpers. Please join us for a morning of chatter, laughter and support.
